Today I am sharing the Birthday card I made for my Best Friend! For this card I used my Cricut Imagine Black and White cartridge for the patterned papers and colors! I also used my all time favorite Cricut cart Sweet Treats and the scallop came from Winter Woodland!

This card was so simple to make that I came up with a few different styles. These are all Birthday cards, but you could easily use the design for any kind of gift card styles. I used sentiments from the Brand new set called Mini Messages....these sentiments are PERFECT for small tags and shape cards!!!

Its time for another TTC with the Scrappy Mom's. This time the challenge is to use the Cricut cartridge Rock Princess. If you are like me and do not have this cart, you can use something similar. I noticed that there were a couple cupcakes on this cart and I NEVER give up the chance to make a cupcake card =) I wish I made more of a "rocker" type card...but this is just where my craftiness took me =)
I used the Blossom Imagine cartridge for all the patterned paper and colors on this card. The cupcakes came from my very favorite cartridge....Sweet Treats. The adorable sentiment came from my favorite SMS Sweet Somethings.

Here is another card I made using a sentiment from Quirky Quotes! There are so many FUN sentiments in this set...such a versital set to own!!! If you follow my blog...you know I LOVE to make cupcake cards...LOVE to!!! When I saw this sentiment...I knew I had to make this card =)

I used some more Echo Park paper from the Dots and Stripes pad....I am in LOVE!!! The flowers I got at Michaels. The sentiment on the front is from Sweet Somethings. I left it generic cause I am not sure what I will use this card for....I can stamp a more specific sentiment on the inside later.

For our project, we were asked to use our favorite SMS set. I have a couple favorites, but my all time favorite is SWEET SOMETHINGS. I chose to make a cupcake shape card using the Sweet Treats cartridge...I LOVE to make cake and cupcake cards if you are new to my blog =)
The paper is from Echo Park...LOVE IT!!! I actually had a tear in my eye when I tore the paper out LOL!!! The twine is also from Scrappy Moms. I was inspired by my crafty friend EMMA's adorable card and how she tied her twine...you can see it by clicking HERE!

Its time again for the Terrific Tuesday Challenge over on the Scrappy Mom's blog. This time the challenge is to use the Once Upon a Princess cartridge in honor of the release of their new set Happily Ever After! If you havent had a chance to see the full set click HERE. Like me....If you do not have the Once Upon a Princess cartridge, just pick something similar from a cartridge you have. I was looking at this cartridge on my Gypsy and noticed it had some cupcakes on it....so I decided to make a cupcake card...I know, BIG shocker LOL!!! Here is the card I came up with.....a REALLY simple one =)
The cupcake is from Straight From the Nest...It is cut at 1.5 I cut off the cherry and hid the sprinkle holes with my Gypsy. The flowers are from Sweet Treats cut at .60 I used the Devine Swirls Cuttlebug Embossing folder for the icing.

It time for new stamps....WOO HOO!!! And this time Mel and Tammy have release TWO new stamp sets!!!!! For my first sneak peak I used the Kids Incorporated set. I LOVE LOVE LOVE ice cream...had to use this sentiment first. I love how in can be used for a kid, but doesnt have to be. Had to pull out my FAVORITE cartridge Sweet Treats for this one!!!

Just wanted to share a wall hanging I made for a friend of mine who is having a baby girl named Norah. I have always wanted to cover a canvas and this is my first attempt. I wanted to paint the background but ran out of time...so I covered it with paper =) I didnt have alot of time to work on this so I went with a fence and a tree and grass....I know SHOCKER!!! LOL...sometimes you just gotta go with what you know works =)

Today is a VERY special day in Bloggie world =) It's Momo's Birthday tomorrow and we are celebrating today with a BLOG HOP!!! Can I get a WOO HOO!!! I decided for my project I would go with a cupcake themed party!!! I made a cupcake invitation, cupcake toppers, cupcake recipe cards and a cupcake birthday card. I had planned for more, but ran out of time =(
First up is the Invitation to the Cupcake Party and a couple cupcake toppers....
For the INVITATION, I used the Just Because Cards cartridge. The shape was on pg. 57 cut at 5 3/4"
The CUPCAKE is from Sweet Treats. Its found on pg. 24 and was cut at 2"
For the CUPCAKE TOPPERS, they were both cut at 2 " and can be found on pgs. 24 & 26
The next part of my project is a recipe card with a recipe for yellow cupcakes and buttercream frosting.... I thought it would be neat to give each guest the recipe you used to make the cupcakes!
When you open the cupcake...you find the recipe for the buttercream frosting.....
for the shape of the card, I used the Just Because Cards cartridge. It can be found on pg. 37 and was cut once at 5 1/4 and once at 5 1/2"
The cupcake is from the Sweet Treats cartridge. It is the card feature on pg. 26 and was cut at 2 1/2"

I wanted to make a birthday card for Tangee's mom over at KricutKrazy She asked her blog followers to make a card for her mom which I think is so super sweet! I just had to make her one. And it gave me an exuse (like I need one) to pull out my favorite SWEET TREATS cartridge!!! I took a little break from the series, but I am back =)
I designed this card in my Gypsy but kept the sizes true to the Cricut so you can make it even if you dont have a Gypsy.
Here are the sizes......
the CUPCAKE, ICE CREAM CONE & the CAKE are all cut at 1.5"

Here is card #6 in my Sweet Treats series and its a cake with flowers!!! So unlike me, I know ;)
I am going to try to do something DIFFERENT for my next card....I have had some suggestions to make a card with the ice cream....so I will try that next time!!! The reason I wanted to make ANOTHER cake card was I wanted to enter this in Mary's challenge blog http://cricutcardzchallenge.blogspot.com/ AND I needed a birthday card....so here it is!!! I hope you like it. Here are the sizes......
The Cake is from pg 38 and it is cut @ 3.59 using the Blackout feature.
The Flowers are from pg 51 and 8 of them are cut @ .81 and 1 of them is cut @ 1.24.
The Pedistal is from pg 42 and it is cut @ 2.18 using the Blackout feature.
*I made this card in my Gypsy....so they are Gypsy sizes!

I had a YouTube viewer suggest I make a Christmas card from Sweet Treats.....and here it is!!! I gotta tell you how fun it was to pull out Christmas paper in JULY =) Hope you like what I came up with!
Here is project #3 in the series and it is a SIMPLE card I made using Sweet Treats. I did one layered firework and one with glitter on it. The glitter one is soooo sparkley but soooo messy. Glitter and I just dont get along until it is glued down...then I LOVE it =) I used a couple ideas for this card from my friends Mary http://cardztv.blogspot.com/ and MOMO http://madebymomo.blogspot.com/ thanks ladies for the inspiration!!!
