Scrappy Mom's Terrific Tuesday Challenge-Kiss Me Card

Hi Paper Lovers....

Its time for another Terrific Tuesday Challenge. This week the Scrappy Mom's have chosed Sweethearts for the challenge cartridge. If you do not have this cartridge, no worries, just use a similar cut. The card I made this week was actually an idea Momo through out one night while Skyping and this is the card that was created from that idea and I just LOVE it sooooo much. Scrappy Mom's Sneak Peak #2 My Heart Belongs to You

HI Paper Lovers...

Here is another card I made using the brand new Scrappy Mom's set called Love Notes. They are available right now for pre-order....click HERE! This set is PERFECT for Valentine's Day but can be used for so much more. I just LOVE the sentiments on this set. Remember this Tuesday is another Terrific Tuesday Challenge with Scrappy Mom's!!!




The heart is cut from Sweethearts and I FORGOT to save it in my Gypsy so I dont know what size it is cut.....GASP!!! I think it is around 4 inches. I sprinkled it with some Martha Stewart glitter...added some pink flowers and some clear bling. The pink border is the Fiskars scalloped scallop border punch. SUPER SIMPLE!!! The card opens where the border punch is and the sentiment is stamped on the inside bottom of the card! Thanks for stopping by!!!

Make a Wish! Cupcake Birthday Card

Oh my goodness...we have a TON of birthdays coming up and I went to my stash and GASP....I hardly had any Birthday cards made!!!!! So I got to work right away =) This card was totally inspired by the new DCWV Celebrations Stack....oh my flippin goodness....I havent been this excited for a paper stack since the Flower Shower stack this Spring!!! This paper is DARLING and its on SALE right now at Joanns!!!




I kind of like the way this one turned out even with my boo boo....My YouTube video is below....I ended up adding some stitching around the base and at the top of my banner where I made a boo boo!!! You'll see it in my video =) Thanks for stopping by!!!

Card Creations and More by C's Challenge #1

Hi Paper Lovers....

Christina from Card Creations and More has started doing challenges on her blog! She asked me to be a Guest Designer for this weeks challenge. Thanks so much Christina...that is very sweet of you! This weeks challenge was to make anything BUT a card. WHAT??? LOL...it was for sure a challenge for me. It actually worked out perfectly cause my Dad just turned 78 and I needed a gift for him. What in the heck do you get a 78 year old that doesnt really "need" anything??? You make him a frame and put a pic of his grandkids in it....or at least that is what I did =)

The frame is one of those plain wooden ones from Michaels. He loves Monkeys so I used the Animal Crackers line from DCWV. I really LOVED how it turned out and it only took me like 20 minutes!!! The hardest part was waiting for the Glossy Accents to dry =)

Scrappy Mom's Challenge-Poodles of Fun

Hi Paper Lovers....

Welcome to Scrappy Mom's very 1st Terrific Tuesday Challenge! They will have 2 Cricut Cartridge based challenges a month - on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays. You will have until the following Monday to submit your entry.

All submitions will be entered into a monthly prize drawing - January's drawing will be for the soon-to-be released Valentine's stamp set, Love Notes! It's so new I can't even show you a picture yet - it's still in spec at the manufacturer!

Now, onto the challenge - this week's cartridge is Birthday Bash. If you don't have Birthday Bash you can use a similar cut from a different cartridge. We want everyone to play along and, hopefully, have a blast!

Smooches Ladybug card for MOMO

Hi Paper Lovers....

I made this adorable card for Momo to say thanks for some goodies she sent me!!! She is so flippin sweet!!! I cant believe this is the first time I cut out this darling ladybug....LOVE her!!! and I LOVE my new Peachy Keen Critter face stamps MOMO sent me!!! Not sure this one looks right on the ladybug...but its still cute =) The adorable sentiment is from the Scrappy Mom's Amusing Animals set....LOVE THEM!!! Did you see that little fence border??? OH MY GOSH....its my new Martha Stewart fence border punch I have been waiting forever to buy!!!! You know my weird obsession with picket fences =) Its like Martha made it just for me!!!

I also popped the ladybug up on an Action Wobble....AWESOME!!!

After the video...I added some Star Dust Stickles....oh my goodness...I might have a new favorite Stickle....shhhh!!! dont tell my Diamond Stickles =) Thanks for stopping by!!!

Cocoa Warms the Heart

Hi Paper Lovers....

I love this little card! I tell ya....I get so much inspiration from the sentiments from Scrappy Mom's stamps!!! This sentiment is from Winter Wishes....cant seem to put it away yet =) I think this card is going to be my first listing in my ETSY....I opened it a while ago and never posted anything. One of my crafty goals this year is to get my Etsy going...what do you think?

Cocoa really does warm the heart, especially today.....its SNOWING here!!! It started yesterday and is still going....we get snow about once a year but its rare to get this much!!!
