Scrappy Mom's Thankful TTC

Hi Paper Lovers... It time for another Terrific Tuesday Challenge. This time the challenge is Thankful...make a Fall themed, Thanksgiving themed, thankful for you etc. I had alot of fun with my card BUT it was ALOT of work =)

TTC with the Scrappy Moms----anything on a STICK!

Hi Paper Lovers...

I know I am late posting this...we have had internet/computer issues...NO FUN! But I am up and running better then ever...YIPPEE!!!

This weeks challenge is to make anything using a stick! The Scrappy Mom's Design Team will be featuring the new paper straws now available on the Scrappy Mom's blog!!! Wait til you see what these fabulous girls came up with...SO CUTE!!!

I made a really simple Spring Banner using colors I wouldnt normally use! Trying to challenge myself not to go for pink EVERYTIME...GASP, I know!!!

I used the Cricut Straight From the Nest and Country Life cartridges, the Scrappy Mom's pin wheel die, twine, brads, a flower punch, stryofoam, magnets, a sentiment from the SMS Spring Fair and buckets =)

Hi Paper Lovers...

My BFF sent me some Peachy Keen Happy Lashes stamps and I had to use them right away!!! I have to admit how much I LOVE this card!!! IT turned out exactly how I had it in my head =)

I used the Straight From the Nest and Forever Young cartridges! The patterned paper and colors I printed from the Cricut Imagine Blossom cartridge! LOVE that cartridge!!!

Baby Onesie Card

We just found out that my sister in law is having a BABY!!! Its a big shocker and I wanted to send her a congratulations card. I came up with this simple but I think really cute card. Have Your Cake and Eat it Too...

Hi Paper Lovers...

Its time again for the Terrific Tuesday Challenge over on the Scrappy Mom's blog. This time the challenge is to use the Once Upon a Princess cartridge in honor of the release of their new set Happily Ever After! If you havent had a chance to see the full set click HERE.
Like me....If you do not have the Once Upon a Princess cartridge, just pick something similar from a cartridge you have. I was looking at this cartridge on my Gypsy and noticed it had some cupcakes on it....so I decided to make a cupcake card...I know, BIG shocker LOL!!!
Here is the card I came up with.....a REALLY simple one =)




The cupcake is from Straight From the Nest...It is cut at 1.5 I cut off the cherry and hid the sprinkle holes with my Gypsy.
The flowers are from Sweet Treats cut at .60
I used the Devine Swirls Cuttlebug Embossing folder for the icing.

Cristina asked us to make a project inspired by something she has created over the last year. Looking back on her blog....I noticed she uses banners alot on her projects and she almost always uses a bow. So...I decided to make a card with a banner and a bow. I also used some inspiration from my blog bestie MOMO.....I stole her super cute idea to tie the bows at the ends of the banner!

I added some Cappuccino twine also from Scrappy Mom's
I added Stardust Stickles to the cherry and Waterfall Stickles on the frosting

Stop and Smell the Jelly Beans!

Hi Paper Lovers...

Here is another card I made using a sentiment from the brand new Scrappy Mom's set called Spring Fling. I wanted to try to make a basket of Jelly Beans and this is as close as I could get =) I made a video explaining the card....it's below. Baby Gift and Card

Hi Paper Lovers....

Just wanted to share a wall hanging I made for a friend of mine who is having a baby girl named Norah. I have always wanted to cover a canvas and this is my first attempt. I wanted to paint the background but ran out of time...so I covered it with paper =) I didnt have alot of time to work on this so I went with a fence and a tree and grass....I know SHOCKER!!! LOL...sometimes you just gotta go with what you know works =)

Make a Wish! Cupcake Birthday Card

Hi Paper Lovers...

Oh my goodness...we have a TON of birthdays coming up and I went to my stash and GASP....I hardly had any Birthday cards made!!!!! So I got to work right away =) This card was totally inspired by the new DCWV Celebrations Stack....oh my flippin goodness....I havent been this excited for a paper stack since the Flower Shower stack this Spring!!! This paper is DARLING and its on SALE right now at Joanns!!!




I kind of like the way this one turned out even with my boo boo....My YouTube video is below....I ended up adding some stitching around the base and at the top of my banner where I made a boo boo!!! You'll see it in my video =) Thanks for stopping by!!!

Card Creations and More by C's Challenge #1

Hi Paper Lovers....

Christina from Card Creations and More has started doing challenges on her blog! She asked me to be a Guest Designer for this weeks challenge. Thanks so much Christina...that is very sweet of you! This weeks challenge was to make anything BUT a card. WHAT??? LOL...it was for sure a challenge for me. It actually worked out perfectly cause my Dad just turned 78 and I needed a gift for him. What in the heck do you get a 78 year old that doesnt really "need" anything??? You make him a frame and put a pic of his grandkids in it....or at least that is what I did =)

The frame is one of those plain wooden ones from Michaels. He loves Monkeys so I used the Animal Crackers line from DCWV. I really LOVED how it turned out and it only took me like 20 minutes!!! The hardest part was waiting for the Glossy Accents to dry =)

Lemonade Stand Card

Hi Paper Lovers....

My Gypsy is HOME!!!! and its WORKING!!!! I am so excited...I have missed her OH SO MUCH!!! I have been wanting to make this card ever since I saw the Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy sentiment on the Scrappy Mom's A Pinch and a Dash set!!! As soon as I finished uploading ALL my carts AGAIN to my Gypsy and finished her update...I got right to work and this is what I came up with!!!!!

here is all the size info....

The BANNER is cut from Straight From the Nest at 1"

The STAND I designed in my Gypsy by welding different size rectangles together.

The LEMON at the top of the stand is cut from Simply Charmed at 1.8"

The BOWL is cut from Simply Charmed at .8"

The CUP is also cut from Simply Charmed at .8"

The GRASS is cut from Create a Critter at 1"

The SIGN on the front of the stand is cut from Walk in my Garden at 3.1"

The LEMONS in the bowl are circles from a regular hole punch.

This card came out exactly how it was in my head =)
