Lemonade Stand Card

Hi Paper Lovers....

My Gypsy is HOME!!!! and its WORKING!!!! I am so excited...I have missed her OH SO MUCH!!! I have been wanting to make this card ever since I saw the Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy sentiment on the Scrappy Mom's A Pinch and a Dash set!!! As soon as I finished uploading ALL my carts AGAIN to my Gypsy and finished her update...I got right to work and this is what I came up with!!!!!

here is all the size info....

The BANNER is cut from Straight From the Nest at 1"

The STAND I designed in my Gypsy by welding different size rectangles together.

The LEMON at the top of the stand is cut from Simply Charmed at 1.8"

The BOWL is cut from Simply Charmed at .8"

The CUP is also cut from Simply Charmed at .8"

The GRASS is cut from Create a Critter at 1"

The SIGN on the front of the stand is cut from Walk in my Garden at 3.1"

The LEMONS in the bowl are circles from a regular hole punch.

This card came out exactly how it was in my head =)

Card for Madison....Smiles are Contagious!

Hi Paper Lovers....



My super sweet friend Trish has been organizing a card drive for a special little girl Madison who has Leukemia. As a Mother or two young boys, what this little girl and her family are facing....just breaks my heart...I can not even imagine. We all can do a little part in bringing a smile to her adorable face! You Bake Me Happy! Cherry Pie Card

Hi Paper Lovers....

Its time for another look at the Scrappy Mom's Stamps A Pinch and a Dash!!! The more I look at these stamps...the more ideas I get =) I decided to use the You Bake Me Happy sentiment...right away I thought of the adorable cherry pie from Simply Charmed cause he is soooo happy!!!

Momo's Birthday Card

Lemon Tree Card

Hi Paper Lovers...

Hope everyone is having a GREAT week so far...I know we are in my house....my husband is on VACATION!!!!!!!! I dont think we have stopped smiling since he got home from work on Monday to start his NINE days off!!!!! So please forgive me for not posting as soon as I was hoping...we have been enjoying each other's company =)



HOWEVER....I did manage to sneak away to my craft room to make a quick and simple card for another sneak peak of the all new A Pinch and a Dash stamp set from Scrappy Moms!!!! My favortite sentiment on this set is Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy....believe me, this wont be the last card I make with that sentiment =)

This card measures 5x 6 1/2

The background cardstock is from DCWV Animal Crackers.
I used the Just Beacause Cards Cartridge
The TREE is on pg 57 and is cut at 10"
The WAGON is on pg 27 and is cut at 3"
The BACKGROUND SHAPE is on pg 57 and is cut and 6 1/2"
The BIG LEMON is on pg 73 and is cut at 2 3/4"
The LITTLE LEMONS are on pg 73 and are cut at 1/2"

Perk Up! Card featuring Scrappy Mom's Stamps!!!

Welcome to my very first card as a Scrappy Mom's Stamps Design Team member!!!!! I LOVE these stamps. The sneak peaks have started for their brand new set called A PINCH AND A DASH!!! These stamps are a really cute play on words for kitchen, cooking and so much more..when you think out of the box, right Cristina =)

For my card today, I used the Perk Up! stamp...I LOVE coffee.....I already have another card in mind with this same stamp....maybe tomorrow!!!!

I made this super SIMPLE card using the Simply Charmed cartridge, a piece of ribbon and a Scrappy Moms Stamp....and I just had to add some Stickles =)

MOMO's BIRTHDAY BLOG HOP!!!!!

Today is a VERY special day in Bloggie world =) It's Momo's Birthday tomorrow and we are celebrating today with a BLOG HOP!!! Can I get a WOO HOO!!!
I decided for my project I would go with a cupcake themed party!!! I made a cupcake invitation, cupcake toppers, cupcake recipe cards and a cupcake birthday card. I had planned for more, but ran out of time =(

First up is the Invitation to the Cupcake Party and a couple cupcake toppers....

For the INVITATION, I used the Just Because Cards cartridge. The shape was on pg. 57 cut at 5 3/4"

The CUPCAKE is from Sweet Treats. Its found on pg. 24 and was cut at 2"

For the CUPCAKE TOPPERS, they were both cut at 2 " and can be found on pgs. 24 & 26

The next part of my project is a recipe card with a recipe for yellow cupcakes and buttercream frosting.... I thought it would be neat to give each guest the recipe you used to make the cupcakes!

When you open the cupcake...you find the recipe for the buttercream frosting.....

for the shape of the card, I used the Just Because Cards cartridge. It can be found on pg. 37 and was cut once at 5 1/4 and once at 5 1/2"

The cupcake is from the Sweet Treats cartridge. It is the card feature on pg. 26 and was cut at 2 1/2"

And finally...I made a cupcake card for the party....

Creative Scraps Challenge

Hi Paper Lovers....


The super sweet and talented ladies who have started Creative Scraps Challenge asked ME to be a guest designer.....ME!!! How exciting....oh, and they asked Julie and Momo too =) Be sure to check out their blogs to see what amazing cards they made!!!


The challenge this week is to make a birthday card, with BLING and use only ONE cartridge! Sounds easy, right??? I can not even tell you how many times I went to grab a SECOND cartridge LOL!!! I had such a hard time just using one =)


and....I have a confession....whenever I have to make a specific card for someone or for a challenge, I just go BLANK!!! I have such a hard time coming up with something....that being said....I gave it my all and this is what I came up with.......

The ONE cartridge I used was Create a Critter.

The KOALA is on pg. 49 and was cut at 2 1/2" I also cut her ACCESSORY feature which is her SKIRT and FLOWER at 2 1/2" I really do like her blingy earings =)

The PURSE is on pg. 47 and was cut at 1"

The BALLOONS are on pg. 30...one was cut at 2" and two were cut at 1 1/2"

The top cardstock is embossed with the Happy Birthday folder from Cuttlebug.

On to my project......

I have decided to do something I have NEVER done before....use my Cricut to make a home decor project....GASP....I cant believe I have never tried one before. I decided to go with a Fall Wall Hanging. I LOVE Fall....so I thought a Welcome Fall sign was perfect since I couldnt wait for it to get here!!!

And here it is.....

I cut a 6x12 piece of cardboard from a cereal box and covered it in patterned paper.

The TREE is cut from SIMPLY CHARMED at 7 1/2......I cut it first out of cardboard and then layered it with the paper so it was thicker.

The SCARECROW is also cut from SIMPLY CHARMED at 4....I also cut it out of cardboard first.

The font is from DON JUAN. WELCOME is cut at 1 1/2 and FALL is cut at 2 1/2. I also cut all the letters out of cardboard and then paper.

The LEAVES are cut from DOODLECHARMS at 1 and at 1/2 of an inch.

I used my Cropadile and punched 2 holes at the top and used some brown ribbon to hang the sign.

The patterned paper is from Making Memories and is from last year.

It really was a simple project and I hope you like it and are inspired to make your own custom home decor for Fall!!!
