Terrific Tuesday Challenge with the Scrappy Mom's

Hi Paper Lovers...

Its time for another TTC with the Scrappy Mom's. This time the challenge is to use the Cricut cartridge Rock Princess. If you are like me and do not have this cart, you can use something similar. I noticed that there were a couple cupcakes on this cart and I NEVER give up the chance to make a cupcake card =) I wish I made more of a "rocker" type card...but this is just where my craftiness took me =)

I used the Blossom Imagine cartridge for all the patterned paper and colors on this card. The cupcakes came from my very favorite cartridge....Sweet Treats. The adorable sentiment came from my favorite SMS Sweet Somethings.

New Scrappy Mom's stamps- Sneak #1

Hi Paper Lovers...

Its time for some brand new Scrappy Mom's stamps that are PERFECT for your Valentine's projects but can be used all year round too! Please join myself and the rest of the Scrappy Mom's design team as we show you sneaks from the new set all week.

I had this idea for my first card as soon as I saw the sentiment Lucky In Love. For such a simple card, it took me ALL DAY LOL! I couldnt get the darn heart clover to look right...I am sure I was making it much harder then it had to be =) I ended up using three hearts from the Indie Art cartridge. They are sized at 1.8 in my Gypsy.
I hand cut the stem and covered all the pieces in glitter. The background papers are from DCWV Spring Stack. The button brads are from K&Company and were a gift from my super sweet friend Julie!!!

You can click HERE to head on over to the Scrappy Mom's blog and get your stamps. Also be sure and check out our guest designer this month...the fabulous STAR from Star's Paper Passion!

One more thing before I go...Saturday, please join the Scrappy Mom's team for a Valentines Blog Hop and a chance to win a set of the brand new set! Thanks for stopping by!!!

Bring on the Cake! Birthday card using my Cricut Imagine

Happy New Year Paper Lovers!

I have a quick little 4 1/4x 4 1/4 size birthday card to share with you today. I have been using my Imagine alot more now that I am done with Christmas cards!!! I LOVE using my Imagine when you need to make a quick card...all the "hard" work is done for you!

I am having a problem with my Imagine not cuting where it is supposed to...I think I am just going to have to give PC a call and hopefully it will be an easy fix!

The sentiments are from the Scrappy Mom's set called Hooray For Birthdays. Everything on the card is printed and cut from the Imagine More Cards cartridge. I added some Star Dust Stickles to the cake and birthday hat.

Hope you enjoyed my card today...below is my YouTube tutorial!
